Quick update

Quick update since our last entry, Nov 2, 2024.

We did NOT make it to Sedona as planned, Larry was ill.

Had an art sale at my house early December, we got to see a bunch of my friends.

Santa Larry at the Airport, waiting for Sarah.

The highlight of the holiday season was my daughter Sarah’s visit.

Tweaked my back mid-December and tried to fake it for two weeks.  But the ER trip on Christmas Eve for pain management spoke volumes.

Spinal surgery happened mid-January, got me some luscious hardware and pretty scars to boot.  Plus my brother, who does not like to fly, flew in for moral support.

February we traveled to Aspen to lend emotional encouragement to my youngest during his knee surgery.

March, I was antsy, so we took another quick trip, this time to Salida.  We brought the dogs, hiked some and Larry tried his hand a fly fishing.

Four months have passed, my physical therapist says I’m “a star.”  I walk 4 miles daily and road bike once or twice a week.  No running or jumping allowed, as of yet.

Now we are packed and ready to depart in two days.

Where are we going?  I’ll give you three hints:

It starts with the letter ‘A.’

It’s in the Atlantic.

And I’ve never been there.
