Mysterious Pico
Today we hiked along the Misterios do Sul do Pico, a costal trail along the south eastern portion of the island.
The word “misterios” translates to mysteries, and is due to the lack of knowledge and fear of the ancient volcanic eruptions.
Larry’s phone showed 8 miles, mine showed 6 miles. Same hike. Go figure.
