Oh Canada, eh
It’s been a week since we departed.
Wyoming had cool petroglyphs and blazing heat.
Montana had picturesque views but lacked traffic lights in congested areas.
Idaho good, friendly people with confused/inoperable Google Maps.
Enjoy the best photos from this week:
Getting the trailer ready, this included repacking four wheel bearings and replacing the toilet flush control module.
Brochure: the en toto pecked human figure on the lower left section of the cliff has an unadorned head and extra legs and feet.
Looks upside down to my trained eye.
This group of en toto pecked figures includes a thunderbird (associated with power), two phallic male figures, anthromorphs with headdresses…
Looks to me like a phoenix momma bird with her two sons.
Oh give me a home
where the buffalo roam
and the deer and the antelope play.
Cow pasture heaven
Campsite #2, Joliet, MT
Campsite #3, Missoula, MT
I call this the ‘Mother-in-law’ plant. Pretty but thorny.
Hiking near campsite #4 (Hope, ID). Very dry with lots of deadwood…a recipe for fire starter.
S’mores in the raw (aka no fires).
Bear and cougar deterrent, ready for the Canadian backwoods.
