Time for another Adventure

Rebecca and Larry business cards.

I have stayed at 55 Airbnb’s since 2018.  Some by myself, some traveling with my daughter and most with Larry.  They range from homes, apartments, tiny houses, bungalows, converted garages, barns, lofts and my favorite - transformed chicken houses.  Chicken houses?  Yes, chicken houses with no smell!  One was in Ellis, Kansas and the other in Petaluma, California.

Rarely have I been disappointed with our accommodations.

This month we’re booked for more places to test out, this time in New Zealand!

NEW ZEALAND!

3 ½ weeks in Kiwi-land.  We will explore both islands, via plane, bus, trains, ferry, bikes, and feet.

Two perfectionists take vacation in a non-perfect world.

This trip is an extension to my 65th birthday.  (T'was last Sunday if you want to mark your calendar for next years gift)

Guest bed transforms into our packing platform.

Speaking of gifts, "Deep Blue" is a collaborative project.  Sarah Noor, my daughter drew the design.  I carved the linoleum.  My girlfriend, Johanna Mueller of Wonderhand Studios, printed them.  And Larry, with his extraordinary good handwriting, wrote the series number and title.  I almost always travel with a handmade tokens as a thank you.
