Diwali Festival of Lights

Today in Wellington we spent the morning at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, and the afternoon at the Diwali Festival of Lights, which was a festival of music, dance, colors and wonderful Indian food smells!

You might notice the tongues, they are everywhere. The 1887 museum photo, Māori boat artwork and a knit face on a random pole. Even the Haka was performed during an Indian festival dance!
